American Cabaret

American Cabaret, also known as Vintage Orientale, is a mélange of movements, stylized for a Western palate. With inspiration from many immigrants, the dancers of New York during the 1950’s and early 1960’s added a theatrical element to the traditional dances of the Middle East, North Africa, Balkans and Eastern Europe.
